The Metropolitan provides a quality product that delivers excellent value. Our packages are a guide only, our friendly catering staff are happy to assist in drawing up a package to suit your individual requirements and requests.

All of our food arrives beautifully presented and ready to serve in our specially designed blue catering boxes. Should you require ceramic platters, this can be arranged.

Events

We can provide a delicious selection of canapes and beverages for cocktail functions. Please ask us for details.

Free CBD Delivery

Our central CBD location at 263 William Street Melbourne, allows us to offer FREE delivery for all catering orders in the Central Business District and surrounds. Deliveries outside these boundaries will incur a small $10.00 charge or minimum order requirements.

Cancellations and Alterations

Changes can be made up until 9.00am on the day of delivery. Please note some menu items may require at least 24 hours notice. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations for orders of 20 people or more.

Late Orders

NO PROBLEM! Metropolitan will make every effort to meet your late-ordering needs. Please phone us personally on 9670 1385 with your order, and we will do our best to accomodate your request

Cocktail Events

MC offers a delicious selection of classic and gourmet canapes for cocktail events. Our professional staff can serve your event or we can deliver your canapes ready-to-serve.

Waiting Staff
  • Monday to Friday $35 per hour
  • Saturday $40 per hour
  • Sunday $45 per hour
  • Public Holidays $60 per hour

Please note a minimum 3 hour duration per staff member applies

Chefs
  • Monday to Friday $40 per hour
  • Saturday $45 per hour
  • Sunday $50 per hour
  • Public Holiday POA
Event Hire

MC can supply all your event hire needs. Please enquire with our catering managers about cutlery, crockery and equipment hire.
